Description
Beast Boy explores the complexity of feeling both human and monstrous at once. Fragmented faces, layered forms, and animal limbs merge into a single figure, reflecting the inner conflict between vulnerability and aggression, tenderness and fear. Inspired by the way Picasso often portrayed himself through beast-like imagery, the painting uses distortion as a language for emotion rather than appearance. Rendered in deep blacks and electric blues, the work becomes a portrait of identity under pressure , confronting the parts of oneself that feel wild, misunderstood, or difficult to tame.
