A digital exhibition reflecting the collective experiences and transformations during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing experimental and adaptive artistic responses.

2022

• Open in a Form – Group Exhibition, InStudio Gallery, South Australia

Organised by Steelo Flow, a collective of mixed-media influencers from Adelaide and Melbourne, this exhibition combined live panel discussions, spoken poetry, visual art, and live painting by Jian Thrill. The interdisciplinary approach inspired Jian’s subsequent work in Silent Stories.

• Silent Stories – Visual Art Exhibition, InStudio Gallery, South Australia

A mixed-media exhibition combining digital illustrations and creatively directed photoshoots, produced in collaboration with photographer Leon Tran, exploring personal and communal narratives.

Brands & Collaborators

Converse X - 2021-2023

  • A creative community initiative by Converse supporting emerging artists.

  • Painted on Converse shoes using ink made from carbon waste; featured in a website launch about the Pacific Garbage Patch.

  • Volunteered to create community murals as part of local engagement projects.

  • Commissioned during COVID lockdown to produce a self-portrait exploring identity and isolation.

The Art People Gallery - Malaysia & Hong Kong 2021-2022
